With pressure on space to perform multiple functions it is important to get the balance right in terms of function and aesthetic appeal. This project is a prime example of this. It required a dramatic shift from a bedroom that had a strong work from home vibe to a space that now feels calm and welcoming. A new simple desk that complimented the area without dominating it was key, as was the addition of new window treatments to add light filtering qualities, privacy and softness. Throw in a new rug and a few little gorgeous accessories and it easy to see why the client is more than happy to work from home most days of the week.
