A recent bathroom build highlighted to me the importance of pushing for what you love. In this instance the inset shelf without the trim and a tiler who was happy to do it. The overall impact on the design is significant and it lets the things we love about this bathroom truly shine. I am talking beautifully stacked tiles, an inky blue vanity with a grainy textural ribbed front and of course the weathered brass that beautifies with time.
